Description
Pleasing 1855 Gold Dollar, MS62
1855 G$1 MS62 PCGS. Both sides of this Type Two gold dollar display soft luster and rich peach-gold patination imbued with traces of mint-green and apricot. The design elements are quite sharp save for some softness in portion's of Liberty's hair and on the top part of the 8 in the date; all of the letters in LIBERTY are sharp. Clash marks are visible on each side, and most of the Indian's profile is clear on the reverse. A few scattered marks are noted on both obverse and reverse.
