Popular, Early Type Three Date
1856 G$1 Slanted 5 MS66 PCGS. CAC. The Slanted or italic 5
is the more frequently seen of the two date variants from this
year. This is a lovely example that displays untampered surfaces,
as seen by the light gray patina over each side. The strike is
strong overall, the mint luster thick, and of course there are no
