Scarce, Low Mintage 1857-D Gold Dollar, AU58
1857-D G$1 AU58 PCGS. Variety 9-L. Luster graces the borders and devices of this unblemished straw-gold Dahlonega example. The strike is good for the facility, and only a whisper of friction is present on the maple leaves and Liberty's hair. Just 3,533 pieces were struck of this rare issue.
