Bright and Colorful, Low Mintage
1858-D G$1 AU58 PCGS. Winter 10-M. A bright, vivid
orange-gold palette features short bursts of soft lilac and
sky-blue in this rare D-mint gold dollar. Just 3,477 coins were
produced, and with PCGS reporting a total of only 124 graded, AU58
examples are more plentiful than Mint State pieces, which is just
28 (5/25). This colorful dollar makes a great alternative to
waiting for a Mint State coin, as it has both rarity and delightful
