Description

1858 Gold Dollar, MS65
Rare So Fine

1858 G$1 MS65 PCGS. The gold dollars of 1858 were largely circulated at the time of issue, and Mint State examples are quite elusive. This Gem is one of seven such (including one MS65+) at PCGS, which has seen eight finer (10/13). The surfaces gleam and glimmer with a golden sheen over lustrous surfaces that are well-struck and free of mentionable marks.(Registry values: N2998)
