Rarely Seen In Mint State
1858-S G$1 MS61 NGC. From a mintage of just 10,000 pieces,
the 1858-S gold dollar is an elusive issue in all grades, and Mint
State examples are rare. This attractive MS61 specimen exhibits
sharply detailed design elements throughout and the lustrous
orange-gold surfaces are lightly marked for the grade. Census: 9 in
