1858-S G$1 MS62 PCGS. CAC. From a small mintage of 10,000
pieces, the 1858-S gold dollar is an elusive issue in all Mint
State grades today. This attractive MS62 example exhibits sharply
detailed design elements in most areas, with some incomplete detail
on the ribbon ends, due to lapping. The pleasing orange-gold
surfaces are lustrous and lightly marked. Population: 4 in 62, 4
