Description
Elusive 1859-D MS 62 Gold Dollar
1859-D MS 62 PCGS. An uncommonly sharp strike for this poorly produced issue of just 4,952 pieces, with strong central details (including the date) and completely defined borders. There is considerable frosty luster with attractive, deep orange-gold color. Only the presence of a few light scuffs in the obverse field limits the grade.
