Description
Vibrant MS62 1859-S Gold Dollar
1859-S G$1 MS62 PCGS. The green-gold surfaces of this example are fully brilliant and highly lustrous. Some wispy marks limit the grade, and a few small alloy spots identify this piece among its peers. Though the 1859-S gold dollar is a noteworthy condition rarity at this level, the issue of 15,000 business strikes has not attracted the same attention as other branch mint issues in the series.
