Rare Select 1860-S Gold Dollar

1860-S G$1 MS63 NGC. San Francisco gold dollars were invariable struck in limited quantity. The highest mintage issue was the 1856-S Type Two! The 1860-S has a typically minimal production of 13,000 pieces. Most survivors are in circulated grades, but the present green-gold example is unworn and, of equal significance, it is devoid of visible marks. Census: 5 in 63, 5 finer (11/11).(Registry values: N2998)
