Delightful 1865 Gold Dollar, MS66
1865 G$1 MS66 NGC. The 1865 has one of the lowest mintages of the Indian Princess Head type (3,725 circulation strikes). It is rare in all grades; in fact, NGC and PCGS have certified only about 80 coins, a number of which are resubmissions or crossovers. Frosty luster embraces both sides, each of which is impeccably preserved, and a decisive strike leaves bold imprints on the design features.
