1868 G$1 MS67 ★ Prooflike NGC. NGC has graded only 11 1868 gold dollars as Prooflike, this Superb Gem the finest and the only one given the Star designation (4/09). Excellent cameolike contrast exists over both sides, each of which exhibits an exquisite strike. Well cared-for brassy-gold surfaces reveal a faint graze on the jaw under high magnification.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25D4, PCGS# 77567)
