Description
1870-S Gold Dollar, MS65
Just 3,000 Minted
1870-S G$1 MS65 NGC. The 1870-S gold dollar was the final
branch-Mint issue of the denomination, and the first since 1861.
Only 3,000 examples were coined, and the survival rate is quite
small. Only 124 examples are certified in all grades and NGC and

brilliant orange overtones with slightly reflective fields and
excellent eye appeal. Census: 3 in 65, 0 finer (11/18).(Registry values: N7079)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25D7, PCGS# 7570, Greysheet# 8087)
