1873 G$1 Closed 3 MS61 PCGS. Reflective fields display golden brilliance. The devices are subdued and well struck. A vertical die scratch extends from the ear to the base of the neck. Closed 3 gold dollars are a key issue in the series. The mintage was only 1,825 coins, of which it has been estimated perhaps 50 have survived.
