1873 G$1 Closed 3 MS63 PCGS. CAC. A brightly lustrous
example from the highly elusive Closed 3 subtype, this example is
well-defined with shining, straw-gold surfaces. Lightly clashed,
though the surfaces exhibit few overt abrasions. One of just 1,800
business strikes coined for this challenging variant, and PCGS
shows only 12 finer pieces (6/25).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 2/2009), lot 2378.(Registry values: N2998)
