1873 G$1 Closed 3 MS63 PCGS. With a commonly cited mintage of just 1,800 business strikes, this variety of the 1873 gold dollar is far more elusive than its Open 3 counterpart. This gleaming Select piece is generally yellow-gold with a patch of orange alloy between UNITED and STATES.
