1880 G$1 MS68 PCGS. An extraordinary, highly lustrous, and impeccably preserved representative. It is a rare pleasure to catalog a gold dollar that is virtually flawless in every respect. The present piece is powerfully struck with captivating satiny luster throughout the fields. Even with the aid of a loupe it is difficult to locate any handling marks and just a couple of pinpoint abrasions keep this piece from being absolutely perfect. This yellow-gold specimen has outstanding eye appeal and is one of only 1,600 coins struck. Housed in a green label PCGS holder. A excellent piece for an advanced collector. Population: 23 in 68, 1 finer (8/08).
