Description
Outstanding 1880 Gold Dollar, MS68
1880 G$1 MS68 PCGS. The 1880 gold dollar, despite the minuscule mintage of 1,600 pieces, has a high survival rate, as evidenced by the certification of several coins by PCGS and NGC. This MS68 example displays variegated apricot and lime-green patina, along with dazzling luster. A well executed strike emboldens the design elements of the immaculately preserved surfaces.
