Description

1882 Gold Dollar, MS67+
Few Known Finer

1882 G$1 MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Despite its small mintage of 5,000 coins, the 1882 gold dollar is collectible in high grade. However, this high-end Superb Gem example is conditionally elusive, and finer pieces are rare. The strike is sharp, and the fields are subtly reflective with rich orange-gold and peach hues. We observe no mentionable abrasions. Population: 33 in 67 (4 in 67+), 11 finer. CAC: 14 in 67, 11 finer (4/17).(Registry values: N2998)
