Description
The Finest NGC-Certified 1882 Gold Dollar, MS68
1882 G$1 MS68 NGC. While many semi-prooflike and fully prooflike examples of this issue are known in today's hobby, the present example exhibits a finish that would best be described as frosty. Nevertheless, glowing tendencies in the fields are evident at a few select angles. All areas are smooth with crisp striking definition and an even endowment of golden-rose coloration. A conditionally rare offering from an original business strike mintage of 5,000 pieces.Consigned by a Financial Institution.
