Outstanding 1883 Gold Dollar
MS67 Deep Mirror Prooflike
1883 G$1 MS67 Deep Mirror Prooflike NGC. CAC. The impeccably
preserved brassy-gold surfaces of this Superb Gem gold dollar yield
excellent field motif-contrast. A well executed strike delivers
sharp detail to the design elements, though the letters RT of
LIBERTY exhibit the usual weakness as made from a lapped die.
Additionally, both sides are devoid of the often-seen copper
stains. In sum, outstanding eye appeal. One of only four pieces
assigned "Deep Prooflike" by NGC (2/10).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25DM, PCGS# 77584)
