1884 G$1 MS64 NGC. Wisps of ruby-red patina visit the borders, while the centers exhibit radiant yellow-gold color. Boldly struck and well-preserved aside from a couple of faint marks in the left obverse field. The date was initially entered with a pronounced upward slant, then largely effaced and repunched. Census: 27 in 64, 54 finer (1/13).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 6/2004), lot 7359.(Registry values: N1793)
