Stellar 1885 Gold Dollar, MS68
1885 G$1 MS68 NGC. The 1885, despite having a higher mintage than some of the later gold dollar issues, presents a greater challenge in the finer Mint State grades. The discerning date collector would find it impossible to find a better example than this incredible MS68 piece. The strike is crisp, and the butter-yellow surfaces have vibrant luster on this simply breathtaking representative, one that is practically flawless, even under magnification.
