Gorgeous Superb 1886 Gold Dollar
1886 G$1 MS67 NGC. The moderate clash marks on this piece--which do not affect the technical grade--are quite interesting. The reverse shows a full, raised, and reversed LIBERTY from the coronet headband on the obverse. Many other mirror-image design elements can be distinguished on each side, abetted by the incredibly pristine surfaces that show almost no distractions of any kind, save for a couple of tiny contact marks on the reverse. This lustrous Superb Gem has bold, even sunset-orange surfaces on both sides. Among the handful of finest graded at either service.
