Sharply Defined 1887 Gold Dollar, MS66

1887 G$1 MS66 PCGS. The 1887 is one of the more available dates in the gold dollar series in spite of its low mintage of 7,500 business strikes. This piece has little of the usually seen prooflike fields and is limited to a slight glimmer. The surfaces are immaculate and both sides show rich reddish patina. Sharply defined. Population: 60 in 66, 22 finer (10/09).(Registry values: N2998)
