Anne gold 2 Guineas 1713 AU55 NGC, KM531, S-3569, Fr-319.
This date and denomination combination has never before been
auctioned with Heritage, an outrageous feat given the quantity and
variety of top-shelf British material our firm has dispersed
through the years and a real testament to the rarity of the issue.
Gentle friction to the surfaces defines the assignment but a crisp
execution of the finer details of Anne's portrait and sun-burst
toning create visual appeal not always present on pieces at this
grade. A memorable debut for this Double Guinea issue, the second
to last date in the series, that would be a fine addition to any
set missing (or looking to upgrade) such an important Queen Anne
