Anne gold Guinea 1712 MS63 NGC, KM534, S-3574. Of simply marvelous condition from this rarer date and displaying a degree of aesthetic appeal that arguably feels outsized for even the impressive choice grade. Blooming golden luster illuminates the surfaces, cascading with brilliant intensity and embracing features that are universally well-defined and without a hint of weakness. Anne's portrait, benefitting from a sound strike, is definitively raised against the surrounding fields, establishing a sharpness and contrast that extends beyond even an arm's length. The surfaces, on the whole, reveal scant enough friction that this wonderful example might as easily seem at home in a holder bearing a higher technical grade. Truly superb.
