Description

Charles I Crown 1625-1649, S-2762, VF, MM sun, struck 1645-46 under the Parliament at the Tower Mint. This is the fifth horseman with the horse and king filling the field. The proportions are much more attractive than the previous piece; although, the horse's neck and the king's legs still need a bit of work. This coin is a beautiful design for this era!
