Incredible "Comonwealth" 1649 Shilling
Commonwealth Shilling 1649 AU53 PCGS, Tower mint, Sun mm,
KM390.1, S-3217, ESC-Unl. One "M" in "COMONWEALTH" variety. An
unimaginable rarity from this coveted Commonwealth series,
featuring a spelling of "COMONWEALTH" only ever associated with
1651-dated pieces, with this being the only example we could locate
from 1649. This, coupled with a superior aesthetic quality
punctuated with cerulean and peach tones, is sure to carry the
