Great Britain: Edward III (1327-1377) gold Noble ND (1351-1352) MS63 PCGS,...
Description
Edward III (1327-1377) gold Noble ND (1351-1352) MS63 PCGS, Tower mint, S-1486, N-1144. 7.71g. Cross 1 mm. Pre-Treaty Period. Struck on a remarkably round flan, and to a very high standard. As is typical, there are some minor areas of localized weakness to the reverse, a factor which fades into insignificance when compared to the outstanding level of detail remaining needle-sharp across both the obverse and reverse. A medieval treasure which has encountered remarkably few hardships over the last few centuries, considering the turbulent and war-torn times from whence it came.Ex.
