Description

Edward VII 1/2 Crown 1905 MS64 NGC, KM802, S-3980, Esc-750 (R2). Mintage: 166,000. The "Key" Half Crown from the Edward VII series, desired as a set completing date among Anglophiles the world over. This lofty specimen is nearly the finest you can acquire if requiring third-party certification, as only a single NGC 64+ exists above the current selection at either NGC or PCGS. Fully bathed in luxurious satin resplendence, but this piece also boasts an idyllic ivory patina with accents of champagne and perhaps a bit of more adventurous color as well. An Edwardian numismatic highlight.
