Description

Edward VII Shilling 1906, S3982, MS66 NGC, scattered light abrasions as seems almost inevitable on this coinage, small toning stain at end of king's beard, the lion having almost full detail in his small face, most pleasing cartwheel luster (usual for this series), obverse with strong eye appeal having bright amber-gold iridescent toning, reverse a similar bright gold with bluish green in the center. A striking coin! Rare thus.
