Description

Edward VII Thirteen-Coin Matte Proof Specimen Set 1902, KM-PS15. Comprised of 13 coins: Maundy Penny to Gold 5 Pound. The eight silver denominations all feature a base of silvery-gray tone with varying patterns of subtle or striated marine-blue luster and/or amber color atop matte-Proof surfaces. Individually these silver coins all express fully-rendered design elements with the larger denominations possessing some light wisps that are virtually unnoticeable to the unaided eye. Regarding the four gold coins, all of them display desirable harvest-gold tone with boldly-detailed devices atop lightly hairlined fields. A tremendous set sold with its original red Royal Mint plush case.
