Description

Elizabeth I (1558-1603) Crown ND (1601-1602) XF45 PCGS, Tower mint, KM7, S-2582, Dav-3757. 1 mintmark. Seventh Issue. This bold large-format issue features an instantly recognizable portrait of the Queen towards the end of her reign. Looking every bit the powerful ruler she was, here a crowned Elizabeth wears the iconic Tudor ruff as she holds her orb and scepter. Well-struck surfaces are cloaked in dove tones, adorned with a gentle dandelion sheen, as devices preserve the features of her ornately designed regalia and profile.
