Elizabeth I gold Sovereign ND (1584-1586), S-2529, Fr-209, MS61 NGC, escallop mintmark delineating the date to 1584-1586. Sixth issue, London mint. Obverse has facing portrait of the queen enthroned, holding scepter and orb. Reverse depicts a large Tudor rose, with the royal shield in its center. Much original luster. A great coin and one of the finest of this type available.
