By Mary Gillick (obverse) and Edgar Fuller & Cecil Thomas (Reverse). Edge: Reeded. ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F D FIVE SHILLINGS Laureate bust right // Crown at center of cross formed by rose, shamrock, leek, and thistle, shields in angles; signed by E.F. and C.T. A key modern rarity distinguishable from the ordinary coins sold to the public at the 1960 British Exposition in New York by its impeccable Proof strike.
