Description
George II Halfpenny 1751, S-3719, Old Bust, MS65 RB NGC, Gem UNC and a real beauty, sharp in details, glowing with reddish brown luster (with a premium bluish hue), and close to flawless in terms of surface quality. Struck from dies beginning to age. The cataloguer used to go to England often, for more than thirty years, and always looked for (raw) copper coins of this quality, seldom finding any pieces without problems, without wear, and preferably with some mint color. Only rarely would a halfpenny like this one be found. If you've been looking for a really nice halfpenny of this type, you've found it!From The Estate of John C. Hugon.
Metal: Copper
