George III 1/2 Sovereign Pattern in Silver 1820, W & R 206, PF 61 NGC, a rare pattern in silver by Thomas Wyon. Obverse is similar to the standard Sixpence. Reverse has thistle and shamrock on single stem, crown above. Edge is plain. and weight is 3.96 gm. Listed as rarity 5 in W & R, (Wilson and Rasmussen). Grayish toning with strong underlying luster.
