Description
George III Penny 1797, S3777, 10 leaves, AU58 BN NGC, struck from worn dies producing slight softness of some details but the overall impression is pleasing thanks to a lack of any significant marks and the chocolate brown, slightly mottled, surfaces, but made attractive by delicate bluish iridescent hues. Scarce when seen so nice as this one.From the Exeter College Collection
