Description

George IV Farthing 1822, S3822, 1st Issue, Laureate Head, leaf ribs raised, MS65 BN PCGS, Gem UNC and a gorgeous, glossy coin, bold strike, luscious surfaces that are a blend of mahogany brown and rich blue iridescence, faint glimmers of mint red, clashed dies, various letters re-engraved, also the 8 of the date. A similar coin (1823) graded MS66 BN by PCGS in our January internet sale sold for $575 in stiff bidding, this coin every bit as eye appealing and lovely.
