Description

George V Halfcrown 1911, S4011, MS64 NGC, light abrasions in the heavy white mint frost account for the 64 grade assigned but this is a gorgeous and very choice coin, and really scarce in this condition, gleaming with cartwheel luster, and importantly having a bold strike with the portrait well detailed and the (usually weak) reverse shield crisp in all four quadrants and in all the outlines of the royal crest. Exceptional! The 2010 SCBC value for UNC is £190 and this coin should be worth that or more.
