Description
George V Proof Crown 1927, S4036, PR65 NGC, Wreath, a wonderful piece from the sets of this year (total mintage of 15,030 crowns, states the Spink reference book), Gem Proof, especially pretty with a rich silvery gray obverse while the reverse is toned a lovely, even sun-gold iridescence. Mirrors are nicely reflective. One of the nicest proofs to be seen, with exceptional eye appeal.From the Exeter College Collection
