Description

George V silver Proof set 1927, S-PS14, Threepence through Wreath Crown, graded by PCGS. Threepence, PR66; Sixpence, PR65; Shilling, PR65; Florin, PR64; Halfcrown, PR64; and Wreath Crown, PR64. An odd combination of grades because this is obviously an original and matched set, each coin almost identical with silvery pastel white surfaces and golden hues, perhaps a few faint hairlines on the 64s but really choice with excellent eye appeal. The 2010 SCBC book value for the set is £575. Sets this nice are not easy to locate.
