Description
Henry VI gold Noble 1422-1461, S-1799, AU58 NGC, Annulet issue, mm "incurved pierced cross" 1422-27. This coin was struck during the first reign of Henry VI, since the only gold coins struck during the few months of his second reign (1470-71) were angels and half angels. There is evidence of a small flan clip, which was one of the prices 'paid' on these early coins that left the mint without any security edge to 'protect' it.More information about Great Britain Coins.
