Description

Henry VIII (1509-47) Half Groat, S-2415, N-1852, posthumous coinage struck at Canterbury, VF for issue of poor silver, with the portrait vague but distinct when held at various angles to view it, casually struck as almost all known pieces are. Original greenish silver surfaces. Always intriguing, with a classic portrait even if not easy to appreciate.
