Description

James gold Unite ND (1615-1616) MS61 NGC, Tower mint, KM47, S-2620, N-2085, Fr-234. 9.89gm. Tun mintmark. Fifth bust. Extremely elusive in Mint State, with this the sole example found on the NGC census. Though the flan displays the usual irregularity, this lustrous stunner deviates from the norm by having the entirety of the legend still visible. Despite the central softness that is endemic to the type, the originality of the surfaces separates this specimen from every other example that we've handled. This is a rare opportunity for the early-modern gold specialist that strives to limit their collections to the pinnacle of available specimens.

Metal: Gold
Diameter: 38mm
