James II Crown 1687, S3407, D3779, 30.25g, 2nd Bust, TERTIO edge, MS62 NGC, a handsome example: light to medium golden gray surfaces, first two digits of the date weak as nearly always seen on these, no real haymarks to speak of, and all in all a balanced and desirable coin. Scarce so fine. The next piece is sharper but some viewers may actually prefer the portrait on this specimen.From the Grundy Collection.
