Description

James II Crown 1687, S3407, MS64 PCGS, Choice UNC, some softness of strike on the first digits of the date but these are still clear, also on the top of the king's forelocks but again these are fairly well defined, both areas being sharper than seen on a majority of this king's crowns, the surfaces here lustrous with typical tin flecks, toned a pretty even and pleasing russet gold with hues of blue iridescence. A fine specimen!
