James II Sixpence 1686, S-3412, AU55 NGC, pleasing surfaces with remnant luster, a tiny scuff on the king's throat line, handsome silvery surfaces with some amber hues. Two center digits of the date heavily recut. Very scarce so fine. 2007 Spink catalogue value for their XF (this coin would comply) is £850, or about $1,700.
