Great Britain: James II tin 1/2 Penny 1687 MS63 NGC,...
Description
James II tin 1/2 Penny 1687 MS63 NGC, KM448, S-3419. A more eccentric three-year type struck in tin and plugged with copper, extremely challenging to find without dilapidating corrosion, much less in Choice condition. This is the best grade we've offered for the type by far and, in fact, the best grade available at NGC. Still blooming beneath the light veil of corrosion and gunpowder patina. Great historical appearance. Accompanied by Mark Rasmussen tag. From the Naim Margulis Collection of British Coinage
Metal: Tin
Diameter: 29.5mm
